15th Conference of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group
Since its founding in 1974, Kazan, McClain, Satterley & Greenwood, A Professional Law Corporation, has represented hundreds of people suffering from mesothelioma. The principals in this law firm are pioneers in asbestos litigation and are among the most experienced mesothelioma lawyers in the United States. We have seen firsthand the devastation mesothelioma wreaks on patients and their families, and we share your devotion to ending this epidemic.
We are pleased to continue supporting this virtual International Mesothelioma Interest Group conference, just as we did in Chicago (2006), Amsterdam (2008), Kyoto (2010), Boston (2012), Capetown (2014), Birmingham (2016), and Ottawa (2018).
In addition to our support of international efforts to coordinate scientific and medical research on mesothelioma, we operate a national law practice from our office in California, representing people from all over the US. We offer each prospective client a free consultation, our unsurpassed skill, based on over 45 years of experience, and our commitment to participate in funding research with any of our clients willing to contribute a portion of their case’s proceeds.
Kazan Law’s Commitment to Research
The Kazan, McClain Partners’ Foundation, Inc. has awarded more than $7 million in grants for medical research to find a cure for mesothelioma. We have been active in the fight against asbestos and have long supported the international efforts to ban its use. We have disbursed over $20 million in grants to an array of community and civic organizations to support research into causes of, treatment for, and prevention of occupational and environmental diseases, increase and improve public awareness about work-place health and safety, provide relief to the underserved, support public interest law organizations, and provide scholarships.
Our Foundation has provided significant support for international efforts to ban asbestos use, much of which has been channeled through IBAS, established in 2000 to provide a conduit for exchange of information between groups and individuals working to achieve a global asbestos ban.

Our Foundation is a public charity under IRC 501(3)(c), with a part-time volunteer staff and a volunteer working board. Its expenses are defrayed by Kazan Law, which means that all donations to our Foundation go directly to charitable services. We fund non-profit organizations that do not fund individuals or organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
If you are an iMig attendee conducting mesothelioma research, we urge you to apply soon for grants from our special iMig microgrant U.S. $100,000 fund. Please email me for more information. I’m sorry we couldn’t all meet in Brisbane and look forward to seeing you all in person next time.
Be Well. Stay Safe.
